My passion for glass began when I was a child sitting in church basking in the ethereal light of stained glass windows. As each cloud floated by, the intensity of the colors shifted and a new color took the spotlight as others softened. I carry that wonder each day as I cut and arrange glass into new shapes and colors. I peek into the tiny window of my kiln with awe as the rigid glass bends and takes on new forms in the heat. After the wait for the kiln to cool, I remove the glass from the kiln back into the light…where I am dazzled again.
I draw inspiration from the nature, and my career in Landscape Design where my focus on color, line, and form flows into my glasswork.
